White Trash Language and it's Use
Everyone knows those words and phrases that are only associated with the lower social strata. We here them all the time, "y'all" or it's inevitable deep south cousin, "All y'all" come to mind immediately. This is the place to document that language so that it is preserved for future generations. Load up the comments in posts and I will get them brought to the forefront as soon as humanly possible.

Y'all's - The place where y'all live. "We'll go to y'all's place."

ReplyDeleteYou'ins - A reference to a group of people; or an individual in a Totalitarian society. "What are you'ins fixin' to do?"

ReplyDeleteSumbitch - A slack jawed annunciation of the term "son of a bitch," most often used on fishing boats or in mechanics' garages. "That sumbitch sure put up a fight."
ReplyDeleteYonder - An expression of distance. "I bet I can shoot that buck out yonder."
ReplyDeleteReckon - To postulate upon. "I reckon that there sumbitch needs replacin'."
